For lots of us right now, finals are starting to slowly creep up and the end of the semester is once again nearing. I don't know about you but with winter in the air and school dragging on longer than I'd like, my outfits have been a lot more casual and simple. No one ever said you couldn't make casual look cute however, this little outfit pairing is a perfect everyday look for Uni where you just want to put your hair up in a high bun and rock those nerdy glasses.

I love oversized sweaters and find that the best kinds are always hidden in the mens section. I think a key tip for any shopper is to venture out of your comfort zone, I always take a peak in the mens section because often times they have really lovely prints and fabrics that you just don't find in the ladies' sweaters. Also, winter time is perfect for the oversized grunge look and a men's sweater doesn't have to hug your curves but can look really really chic. Pair that warm knit sweater with your favourite pair of jeans and rock some killer boots. I love the colour burgundy and these awesome combat boots from H&M would be a wardrobe stable for me all year round. Personally, I think the best part about looking casual is being able to accessorise, with basic outfit pieces you're allowed to pop on a few more jewels than you usually care to. These crescent moon studs are absolutely beautiful and paired with the simple brass Triangle necklace, you'll have just the right hint of sparkle. Throw on some extra gold rings and paint those nails a fiery red such as Essie's Shearling Darling. For Uni I like to keep my makeup rather natural and the perfect palette for neutral shades would have to be the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, that with a few wisps of mascara and a neutral lip pairing Nars Isola Bel Lip Pencil and Super Vixen Lip gloss is key for a neutral but sexy everyday pout. For on the go touch ups, carry your makeup in this little Crossbody Bag and then you're ready. Ready for finals or any day at the University with a little badass edge and natural makeup that will let you be comfy, nerdy, and super super fierce.

Holiday Party Little Black Dress

Holiday Party Outfit Look

ALDO Elroissa Clutch - Aldoshoes €30
Soft Bamboo Tights in opaque Black - Zara €15
Zara Leather High Heel Court Shoe - Zara €74
Black Sequin Scallop Hem Dress - New Look €40
Bobbi Brown Smokey Warm Eye Palette - Barneys €40
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil, Train Bleu - Beauty €18
Lord&Berry Scuba Extreme Lengthening Mascara - ASOS €13
The Full Monty Butter London - Butterlondon €11

Holiday season is finally here and it's time to celebrate! Whether it be for a Christmas party, work party, or just a simple holiday gathering a little black dress can never go wrong. I paired this cute sequin dress from New Look with some simple accessories and shoes to make sure everyone's eyes will be on you in this sparkling number. The gold accents in the gorgeous black chain linked clutch and the pointed leather High Heels from Zara have a hint of sexiness but also leave you feeling sophisticated and elegant. Since it has been getting colder and it is winter time, let your legs appear even longer with some opaque tights. Go for the Zara Bamboo kind because they're warm, comfortable, and suck you in at all the right places. As for makeup, I'd recommend a simple natural eye look using the gorgeous and highly raved over Bobbi Brown Smokey Warm Palette, that with a few coats of lengthening mascara will give you a subtle beauty and let everyone's focus move down to your lips. This NARS Lip Pencil is an absolutely gorgeous colour, the Train Bleu is a deep berry matte look that would add just a hint of colour to this all black outfit. Finish off with some gold nail polish and you're ready to impress anyone and everyone this holiday season!

Date Night Outfit

Untitled #7

Cap Sleeve Crop Top in White - Jane Norman €5
Gold Chain Necklace - H&M €10
Highbrow Shades - NastyGal €12
NARS Lipstick in Damage - Nordstrom €20.41
Reptile Faux Leather Envelope Clutch Bag in Beige - Chiara Fashion €17.51
Parisian Black Side Zip Leather-Look Midi Skirt - New Look €29.99
Zara Shiny High Heel Strappy Sandal - Zara €74

I have really been leaning towards investing in higher end products lately and rather than buying bits and bops of cheap clothing or accessories or makeup, I have been going out and splurging on the real things. These Zara Strappy Sandals are basically constantly talked about, Zara Strappy Heels in general are everywhere in Fashion and in tons of my favourite fashion ladies closets so, I decided to make an outfit centred around them. I actually got the inspiration from one of my favourite you tubers HeyClaire. She rocks the edgy look and I always drool over her outfit pairings.

This look doesn't exactly read wintertime but if you're so keen on being warm just throw a long coat over it. I thought it was an ideal date night outfit and although I won't be going on any dates anytime soon, maybe y'all will and you can get some inspiration from this little set here. I am in love with this skirt from New Look. Midi Skirts are usually really unflattering on me because I feel like I have short stubby legs but as I've been losing weight my legs have become something I'm becoming more and more proud of. I have a big tattoo on my right calf which was designed by my best friend and has my favourite quote by a philosopher named Descartes, "I think, therefore I am" so any chance I get to show it off, I usually take. I love this sexy zipper detail and the huge slit that flashes just enough leg to get your dates blood pumping. I thought the top needed to be kept casual so I chose a simple white crop top and then of course, a staple gold chain Necklace from H&M. What I absolutely love about this look, other than the fabulous shoes is this amazing little Envelope Clutch from Chiara Fashion. I am not usually a big fan of clutches because I find them too small and annoying but this one is really gorgeous and just looks classy, elegant, and fits all the junk I feel the need to carry around. To finish off the look, I added a dark lipstick from Nars and some sunnies from NastyGal. Okay, okay, so the Shades are a little irrational since it's going to be snowing here soon but I found them so adorable and they worked with the whole colour motive so don't judge me. Also, oh oh did you notice I didn't choose a Mac Lipstick this time? I found this Nars one adorable and I really like the packaging. I always found my lips too small for lipstick but recently I've made some high end purchases and found it may have just been the cheap lipsticks all those years that made me deny the fact that my lips too can look luscious and nice. I like the dark shade as well because it seems edgy and if the date happens to go extra well you can mark your territory on his collar with some deep dark lip action. All in all, this look is just damn sexy and would work for pretty much every body type, every girl should want to feel like a sex goddess during a date and the right outfit and accessories can really help boost confidence and your dates heart rate.

Not the most eventful blogpost but I'm trying to get back into the habit of sitting down and writing. The weather has been leaving me a little tired and mopey lately so I haven't wanted to seep that energy into my blog posts. Thanks for being patient with me, those of you who actually read my lame little blog and leave some comments down bellow telling me about what you would wear for a date night.

Dark Winter

Untitled #4

Natasha Singlet Tank Top €5 - Monki
Lucky Lace Bra €12 - Monki
High Heel Ankle Boots with Buckle Detail €72 - Pull&Bear
Hobbs Sheer Shine Tights €8,38 - House of Fraser
Toni Skirt €65 - Monki
Mono Waterfall Coatigan €78 - DorothyPerkins

This look would honestly most resemble my everyday wardrobe, I wear a lot of black and I mean a lot. It's just what I feel the most comfortable in, I think it slims, makes you look incredibly sexy, is beautiful to pair with just about anything and by mix and matching different tones and textures.. black can always be chic and perfect. I also am a pretty big fan of basics lately, my wardrobe is a little dull but I do find that for college or work or just simply on the go, basics are perfect pieces to just grab and throw on. I will admit some of these items are on the pricier side but I bet there are dupes on tons of websites or they're that one splurge item that we're all just dying to have in our closet.

I think that the only kinds of clothing, I actually end up investing in are ones that I know I can incorporate in just about any kind of look. Shoes, black skirts, and coats are just that; specifically these that are kind of to die for. Buckle boots are just about everywhere right now, from the Jeffrey Campell Coltranes to the Steve Madden Karenas, everyone is wearing them, everywhere is selling them and it's kind of just up to you to find the right one that fits your autumn winter taste. I really like the gold detail on these from Pull&Bear because I usually opt for gold jewellery and accessories so it would tie in with most of my looks but, if you're more of a silver kind of gal.. look for one with some silver details! Whatever floats your boat and is acceptable for your budget. The leather detailing from last year's collections are still going strong and I have to admit, I've jumped on the leather loving bandwagon. However, for a girl with a bit more junk in the trunk and curves that can't actually be contained.. a full on leather skirt just won't do. This skirt from Monki is honestly beautiful, the little leather accents are right by the top which create the illusion of a smaller waist and would work for just about any body type. I think even my huge bum wouldn't look that big in this killer skirt! Lastly, the coat. Ugh, I am just so perplexed with coats and outerwear and all this clothing needed to keep me warm and still look cute load of bull. Look, I'm from California... our sweater weather is during those five to seven days it actually rains and everyone gets to pull out their uggs and lightknit cardigans and sit and complain about the freezing 55 degree weather we're so hopelessly fighting through. I am now living in a country where 55 degrees is summer and snow is basically on the forecast everyday during the winter... and yet I still don't own a winter coat. I know, I know, I'm going to freeze my (as mentioned before) big white ass off, but I just can't find a coat that doesn't make me look like a big potato. Most coats are cut so straight and the ones that do tie at the waist still have all this fabric that makes it look like I have MULTIPLE muffin tops. The trench coats are too long, the windbreakers too ugly, heck.. I think I'd rather freeze than go to school everyday looking like a stuffed mushroom. So... yes, I have yet to actually purchase a coat and I'm far too picky to buy one online so in the meantime I decided to add this one to this outfit. It's a Dorothy Perkins coatigan.. a coat/cardigan? and it looks really beautiful here. The pattern is lovely, the pricing is acceptable and I was even considering purchasing the dang thing just to get this whole coat debacle over with. But then... I went on the website and the skinny minny model who was wearing it looked incredibly unflattering in it and when that happens well... how the hell am I supposed to pull it off if even Barbie can't? So, I decided I'd rather save my money and avoid looking like the big ass peach that's carrying James to New York City and didn't buy it.

For finishing touches and basic necessities, I included the little black tank top from Monki. Everyone owns a black tank top and then paired it over this adorable triangle bra. Okay, I'll admit for cold temperatures if you don't want Mount Everest to appear on your chest.. a little flimsy bra probably wouldn't be the best bet but it's cute looking and I've always wanted one so I included it in this outfit,  okay!? To top off this martini, wear some black sheer tights under the skirt to add some length to those legs and enjoy the beautiful autumn days feeling like a chic sex goddess.

Sophisticated Autumn

sophisticated autumn

1. Tartan Crop Top - Lavish Alice
2. Midi High Waisted Bodycon Skirt - New Look
3. Oxblood Fur Collar Coat - Miss Selfridge
3. Platform Ankle Boots - H&M
4. Layering Triangle Necklace Set - Daily Look

I decided to make another outfit set today because in all honesty I wasn't sure what to post, I also have been eyeing a ton of autumn winter clothing and am getting ready to shop for some new clothing essentials now that I have a second job. I found this outfit to fit my style perfectly because it has a flirty edge to a sophisticate look. I find that this look can be for a night out or also for a casual Autumn Day, it's extremely versatile and also really casual and easy going. I like being comfortable and feeling hot and I find that this look shows off my assets while still letting me breathe and feel good.

I'm still really enjoying the tartan trend for Fall and I don't think I'm going to stop anytime soon, this crop top seems perfect for layering because it has a boxy fit that can really be constructed and fits any body type. I usually don't like boxy fitted tops because they tend to hide my small wait but since this is cropped I found it perfect to fit to a constructed high wasted bodycon skirt. This black midi skirt looks elegant and has a really nice belted detail which accentuates the waste and let's you get away with having a looser fitted top. Since it is nearing winter, I found it necessary to pair the look with a coat. I personally do not own a single jacket or coat yet and am definitely picky. They're also usually pretty pricey so buying the perfect coat can be annoying. I found this one from Miss Selfridge really beautiful because of the oxblood color. I have been seeing the olive green trend from last fall popping back up but I prefer this oxblood look since it feels a bit more sophisticated and elegant. I also like the fur collar because it's not overwhelming and just hints at the fur trend coming back this Winter. For shoes, I went big with some platform booties that will provide enough height to really make this look sexy. I like the look of long legs and if it gets a bit too cold, throw on a pair of black tights that'll let these boots make it seem like you have legs for days. I went back to my favorite accessory, I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea but these layered triangle necklaces are definitely on my wish list. I didn't find that the look needed too much else so I left it at that.

I personally love this outfit and will most likely splurge on all these items although they are all fairly priced. I always try to make looks that include items that won't hit your bank account hard and are versatile enough to be a good purchase for pairing with other looks as well.

What did you think of this look?

Until Next Time,

Autumn Outfit of the Day

autumn outfit of the day

1.  Cardigan - Monki
2. Tartan Skirt - New Look
3. Booties - Asos
4- Cami - Topshop
5. Triangle Staple Necklace - H&M
6.  Mac Ruby Woo Lipstick - Mac
7. Triangle Ring - River Island

I have really been loving the tartan trend that is becoming more and more popular this autumn season. However, most tartan skirts I've seen are skater skirts and for women who have hips like myself, a skater skirt simply isn't flattering for the figure. I found this beautiful pencil skirt from New Look which exentuates the curbs in all the right ways.
Also, knowing that often patterned bottoms are not always flattering for all body types because they tend to make us women seem wider, I paired the look with a lot of black. Black is my go to color all year around but since the winter months are usually dark and vampy, a black simple Cami from Topshop paired with a Black Chunky Cardigan from Monki will make the outfit winter appropriate, body flattering and still fashion forward.
Another trend that simply everyone is gushing over, myself included are black heeled booties. I own two pairs already but this beautiful pair with zipper accents from Asos are absolutely perfect for a grunge edge to the everyday outfit. I'm not one to mind mixing silver and gold Jewlery so I paired the silver trimmed booties with a bit of gold. I have been loving triangles in jewlery, I think it simply has an elegant artsy edge so I found this gold triangle necklace from H&M which is quite a staple and paired it with a few little gold triangle rings from River Island
To tie the look together, I went for the top autumn trend, a red Vampy Lipstick. Ruby Woo is a Mac Favorite for tons of girls in the winter months. The cold tends to wash out all the color  in my face so a dark lip always makes me look more put together and stylish.
Overall, This is an outfit I would personally rock any day, it incorporates a few top trends and can be a daytime look or for a fun night out.

Would you wear this look? What other Autumn Trends are you loving?
