Mulholland Drive

 I've been learning to enjoy more time with myself. Now that I have my license and my car, I'm constantly tempted to just go for a drive and lose myself in thought. There's something so freeing about driving. Plus I'm usually singing at the top of my lungs to music and for some reason every song sounds better when it's played on your car speakers. Today I got lost finding that big long windy road that I always feared driving up when I was a little girl. It felt so good to be in control of the road as it wound itself up to the Topanga Outlook on Mulholland Drive. I felt in control and it was beautiful. The sun was going down and another day was ending, another month, another moment. 

Just a little something to remember the thought.
