Lately I've been on some kind of haircare kick where I'm actually wanting to buy things to make my hair grow longer and just appear healthier. It's not that my hair is in any bad condition at all, it's fairly long and it has the occasional split end but overall I take pretty decent care of my hair. I just constantly see all these girls buying hair care products and doing all this satanic ritual voodoo magic to make them look like some kind of mermaid so, I decided I too want to resemble a fish woman with long beautiful locks and did some looking into hair products I'll be investing in soon.

To start it off, I added a few Hair Masques to the list including the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque and the Bumble and Bumble Deep Protein Masque. To be completely honest, I have no idea what hair masques are, I suppose they're almost similar to leave in conditioner where you  kinda massage it in and then let sit for however long and then your hair is apparently supposed to be repaired and beautiful and it's just supposed to be this whole big thing. I've seen tons of reviews and all these girls are doing this hair masque treatment once a week and I guess it's working for them so I suppose I'm willing to give it a go. The one I'm leaning towards would have to be the Macadamia one only because I've heard such great reviews about the line itself and it has all these oils that are supposed to transform plane Janes like me into mermaids too. Going along with the oil trend, one of the two products I definitely will be purchasing this month is the Macadamia Natural Healing Oil Treatment. It's one of those oils that you rub into your split ends and it has all these vitamins that are supposed to bring life back into my dead, blow dry, straightened mess of hair. The price isn't too harsh either and it appears as though the product will last for quite a while so I think it'll be something worth wracking out a few extra bucks.

Something I've been wanting for ages now is the Loreal Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo Texture Expert, it's probably been on my wish list for almost half a year now and somehow I just haven't come around to buying it. One of my favourite youtubers Anna Lee from AnnaLeeandJesse is a hair stylist in California and she swears by this stuff. She does little demos on her channel occasionally and her day two hair always looks a thousand times better than even my day one hair, so I feel like this product must be the holy grail. Alongside that, the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish and Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray are constantly being blogged about and are favourites from tons of gurus so I thought I'd add them to my wish list and give them a try.

To finish off my list of hair care things I definitely need to pick up are some more Bobby Pins. Am I the only one who genuinely loses every single Bobby Pin they own? I swear, I'll buy a pack of 100 and the next day I'll only find maybe five. I have been clipping my bangs back out of my face most days because recently I snipped them a bit too short and Bobby Pins give me the best hold; they're cheap, they blend in with your hair and every girl should have loads of them lying around their house. I still have a few right now and have just been far too lazy to walk into a shop and pick some more up but it's really been getting on my nerves because the ones I have don't have the little rubber thingy on the ends anymore. So now they're these harsh iron sticks that scratch my head and don't hold as well and it's been bugging me so much lately, does anyone know how to fix those? That's kinda silly, I should honestly just get my lazy ass to a store and repurchase, haha.

Okay, enough rambling. What do you guys think? Have you owned any of these products and can you recommend which ones I should definitely invest in? Or Do you have any other hair products that just work wonders for you, I can try to? Leave some comments down bellow!

  1. I'd love to try the B&B Texturising spray as well, but the price puts me off - I just think it's a bit much to pay to mess up your hair - but saying that, I'm pretty sure I*ll end up paying it anyway one day :O). Xx
