Dilshika had the day off Sunday so we drove down to Pasadena and went to the Rosebowl Flea Market. Flea Markets always overwhelm me. There's so much to look at and rummage through that my indecisive self usually ends up taking it all in rather than actually shopping. Pasadena hosts the market the second Sunday of every month. It's an experience that's really quite fun and whether you're going to shop or just to look around, it's an adventure worth having. People from all over come to find old band t-shirts and vintage clocks but some of the best finds are the people working the shops or the random strangers that stop by. Every piece has it's own story and every person is looking for a different find, it's really quite riveting and beautiful to watch. The next one will be on August 9th so take your best friend and go get lost for a few hours, you never know what treasures you will find.

Sounds like a lot of fun! There are many flea markets and the like about an hour away from where I live (by public transportation), but I'm far too lazy to get my butt out of the house. Perhaps I'll have someone go with me, so I can look forward to spending time with them too!
