L'oreal EverRich Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Lately, I've been focusing on getting back to the basics. After years of using blowdryers, straighteners, hair extensions, hair dyes, even bleach, my hair is just not in a very lovely condition. I will admit I do have fairly long hair. It goes down to about my tushy and I do think my best overall quality is my hair, I like to think it's my little mess of a lion's mane and when my hair is looking good, I'm usually having a good day. It's pretty silly how the state of my hair can affect my entire day but I am guilty as charged in that department. Anywho, I've finally started to realise that I need to start taking better care of my hair and have recently invested in quite a few hair products and also cut using heat out of my haircare routine. I have proudly gone almost two weeks now without straightening or curling it and although I used a hairdryer this morning for five minutes, I left the house with mostly wet hair because I felt far too guilty abusing my poor stands even more. Something I've been just been hating lately is how thin and dry my hair has gotten. I wish I could say that I still have thick luscious locks but I don't and it sucks dude. I openly admit to staring down girls with amazing hair and beating myself up about how my hair just doesn't look like theirs. I will admit to probably turning green in the face with envy because my hair just isn't what I want it to be.

It's such a process getting your hair to be healthy and full and luscious and something I find really important is using the right shampoo and conditioner. Enter the L'Oreal EverRich shampoo and conditioner. These products have been raved about lately and I decided I really needed to pick them up and see what all the hype was about. I decided to purchase the ones that are designed for dry and flat hair since my hair is thin and can get very dry. The L'Oreal Ever range claims to be without sulfates, parabens, harsh salts and they're 100% vegan. I've never been one to really look at the ingredients of a shampoo bottle and frown at it in disgrace for having sulfate or any of that jazz but since I'm trying to be as nourishing as possible, this brand seemed to be the right pick.

Now let me tell you, this stuff smells amazing. It smells kinda like a vanilla caramel swirl but then it also has that 'Oh I've just been in a salon' kind of scent mixed in. I love it, it smells just wonderful and in a silly way, it smells expensive. I really like what it does to my hair, it makes it feel nourished and healthy and smooth while not weighing it down or making it seem incredibly flat. Since I do have quite a lot of hair, I usually have to use loads of product to actually get around to all of it but with these a little goes a long way. I don't need to lather my hair in conditioner to have it feel conditioned!

Overall, I think L'Oreal did a good job with this range. It really gets the job done by providing a little TLC for damaged dry locks and for a drugstore line, it's affordable and works. I really am hoping that they also provide long term affects that will help my hair grow and replenish itself but that might be asking for a bit much. They're both priced around €7 which is normal for drugstore products and I really think they give your hair some bang for that buck.

Have you tried any products in the L'Oreal Ever line? What are your favourite hair care products of the moment? Let me know, down bellow!
