Pamper Treats | The Mask Edit

Lately I've been dreaming for the time to have a pamper night. Oh how I miss those glorious days where I wasn't up until midnight studying after going to work all day. I love face masks and usually try to squeeze one in at least once a week. I have three top choices that I constantly gravitate towards and that have never failed at bringing my skin back to a nice smooth glow.

This one has been around my skincare stash for over a year now and whenever my skin is breaking out, I grab for this gem. This mask is a claylike texture that dries into the skin and really works to draw out any deep dwelling pore cloggers. The active charcoal ingredients alongside the white China clay absorb all the toxins in your skin and leave it feeling just that much more clear and clean. I like to let this mask completely dry and then wash it off slowly with a hot cloth, it's the most amazing feeling to really deep clean my pores.

This mask is so much fun and it really works for all skin types. My best friend and I always smear some of this black peeling mask on during our weekend nights and it works for both my combination acne prone skin and her clear normal skin. It is a very thick black consistency that truly sticks onto your skin and may take a second to get used to. This mask contains Vitamin C, montmorillonite clay which basically works as an exfoliant and also numerous other plant extracts that are meant to hydrate and soothe the skin. I love peeling masks and the Black Mask does an amazing job of showing you all the disgusting gunk it's sucking out of your pores. It is a pull or tug kinda mask that dries quite intensely so if you're sensitive be careful with this one. I love using this mask around my nose and cheeks because it truly grabs everything and cleanses wonderfully. When I'm not looking for harsh improvements, Bosia's mask is what I treat myself to.

This white mask is actually my most recent purchase and addition to my pamper treats. I'm still trying to figure out if I really cannot live without it but it's a wonderful wonderful product. It has a smoother finish than a normal clay mask and contains ingredients including Zinc Oxide, Sulfur, and Salicylic Acid which are some of the basic products included in many acne clearing treatments. It's a miracle product once it's been washed off and leaves my skin looking ten times better than before but the only con to this product is that is really really stinks. Like this mask just reaks. I'm not sure why anyone would want to smear something so smelly on their face and if it didn't work so well I surely wouldn't. It's an amazing clearing mask and all you need is 10 minutes so I usually just bite my tongue, hold my breathe and leave this smelly amazing mask to its job.

  4. I'm in search of a new mask because my last Boots one ran out and I wasn't super impressed with it. My problem is I have combination to very sensitive skin and where I'm sensitive (cheeks/nose area) is where most of my gunk settles in. So I'd love the Boscia mask to suck it all out but I don't want it killing my skin!

  13. These masks sound great! Have you tried the Glam Glow mask? I love it for blemishes. My skin is dry/dehydrated typically so I love treating it with the Origins drink up intensive mask - which smells amazing! Wish their other ones did too.
