Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy

Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blushes are probably some of the most raved about blushes on the market right now. Aside from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes just about every beauty loving gal wants to get their hands on one of these bad boys. Recently, Tarte was having a Valentines Day sale where they were offering 20% off of your entire order for a limited time only. I knew I had to hop on the deal and practically stole one of these beauties for only $20. They usually retail for around $26 and that's a bit too pricey for me so when I saw the opportunity to pick one up for less, I just couldn't resist.

Tarte claims that their main ingredient, Amazonian Clay, is able to adapt to your personal skin type whether it be oily, dry, or combination and works to absorb the excess oils or moisturise those dry patches. It basically claims to work with your skin rather than against it. Tarte also suggests that these blushes last a full 12 hours. For me personally, they last about 7 to 8 hours which is still rather impressive in my opinion.

I picked up the shade Tipsy which is a gorgeous coral colour that can definitely scare you off upon first impression. The shade in the pan can be rather intimidating but on the skin it is just beautiful. Similar to most Tarte blushes, you only need a little product to create a natural glow. A light hand is definitely recommended when applying this blush. I am still getting used to wearing blush myself but this one just makes it so easy to have a natural glow and not look like I'm trying to appear flushed or too cheeky. The formula of this blush is also super impressive. The powder texture is incredibly soft and really melts into my skin. I also think a good coral can be a lovely shade for any skin tone. I'd definitely recommend picking up this gorgeous blush. It's already become a favourite of mine and I know I'll be sporting this baby all through spring and summer.
