Review | Essie Meet The Parents

So I bought another blue nail polish. I always tell myself I want to venture out and buy a new unique shade and then one way or another I end up convincing myself that the blue colour I'm eyeing is definitely not like any other blue shade I already own. Does that ever happen to ya'll? Meet my new addition to the many shades of blue - Essie's Meet The Parents. 

I have not taken the time to even attempt to paint my nails because at work I'm constantly chipping or breaking or smashing my fingernails and therefore nail polish has become somewhat of a distant memory. That being said, I am starting to get back into blogging and therefore I let myself buy a few new polishes to add to my collection. Meet The Parents is this gorgeous pastel blue shade that is so feminine and elegant that it even works during these rainy weather winter months. It does require three coats to get that perfect shade but with a topcoat this formula is basically life changing. I have been wearing this shade for an entire week and my nails have not even slightly chipped. If anything, I'd just have to repaint them because for once, my nails actually grew! It might be winter but I'm still reaching for those light pastel shades.
