I absolutely love playing with my makeup and trying out new looks every once in a while. I also love getting inspired by other bloggers and youtubers. This morning I was watching one of my new favourite youtubers Kayla Hagley and was inspired to do a soft cut crease makeup look. Kayla's absolutely gorgeous and her makeup tutorials are always freakin amazing so obviously my own interpretation of the cut crease look didn't actually end up looking as great but I don't think I did that bad of a job. It's a very soft, glamorous look and was really fun to recreate.
I stuck to my favourite eyeshadow palette the Lorac Pro Palette and used shades Sable and Garnet to really define that cut crease and blend up. To create the heavy light lid shade I followed Kayla's steps and used my Mac Paint Pot on the lids after the initial crease blend unlike my usual routine of prepping my eyes with Soft Ochre. I then went over that creamy pigment with Lorac's Light Pink shade just to soften the look. After some light blending I winged my eyeliner with my holy grail liquid liner the Kat Von Dee Tattoo Liner and brushed on loads of mascara. With a splash of bronzer and my go to nude lips I was ready to go. I felt super glamorous with this look and it looked feminine and fresh, perfect for the holidays.
What kind of makeup looks are you guys playing with lately?

So gorgeous! Your eyeliner looks perfect! xo
ReplyDeleteah yes the lorac pro palette. i wish they hadn't pulled it from sephora but i'm glad i got one while its as available. strangely i don't reach for it as much as i though i would! as far as neutral palettes go, the Naked 1, unsurprisingly, as been more preferred.
ReplyDeletebut i do like the loo you created here and i'm a huge fan of prepping my eyes with MAC's soft ochre too.
