I really cannot believe how fast time has raced by these few weeks and now I'm literally two days away from my big adventure. For those of you who don't know, I grew up in California. I'd lived there pretty much my entire life and about a year and a half ago everything changed. I made the decision to move to Europe on my own with my dog and it's been a crazy bumpy ride. Now finally, I have gotten the chance to go back home and see some of the people I love again and it's exciting and scary and only two days away now. My flight is on January 28th. I will be leaving Austria at 6 am with my pooch and after 13 plus hours I will be landing in sunny California. The irony is that it has started snowing ballistically these past few days and I'm about to venture into a heat wave. I wanted to write this quick little update because the next week, I may be a little busy getting back into the swing of things in California and honestly just enjoying my family, friends and home. I will be blogging once I get settled and I'm only supposed to be there for a month. To be completely honest, I know this next month will be life altering because I'm giving myself the chance to now choose where I want to be and what exactly I want to do to further myself. I will also be attending quite a few beauty events and looking into beauty school. Also, I'm probably going to spend far too much money on makeup and clothing so prepare for some major haulage. I just wanted to thank you guys one more time and say I really appreciate each and every one of you that takes the time to read my posts and follows this little blog I call home.
I would love it if you guys had any last minute packing tips or any plane ride tips. I am personally horribly afraid of heights and I'm really dreading this long journey. I also am considering buying internet while I'm in the plane so I'm most likely going to be on twitter but I'll update that as soon as I really know. I'm just really nervous and would love your thoughts on what I should do to calm my nerves. Also, as always leave down bellow any beauty suggestions I should pick up in the states. I will be doing so much shopping, oh my.
I hope ya'll have a lovely week and I will see you soon. Wish me Luck!
Stefanie xx

awh thank you so so much Josie (:
DeleteI hope you have an amazing time in California, I've always wanted to go there! My tips for a plane journey is to make a massive playlist full of your favourite songs and grab as many magazines as you can at duty free or bring a book with you! I always get bored on flights so I'm either listening to music or reading magazine!! :-) xx

Where are you planning to go? Wherever you go. I wish you luck and thanks for the kind words Natalie (:
DeleteI hope you have the best time in California and you work out everything - beauty school sounds fantastic and I can't wait to see some USA hauling!
ReplyDeleteMy friend gave me the best packing tip of rolling all your clothes rather than folding - stops creases and you fit a lot more in!

DeleteOMG your trip is sooo soon! You must be so excited!! I hope you finally find out what you want to do, and have loads of fun with your family, and friends!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see what you'll buy!
I would definitely bring some gum, hand moisturizer, face moisturizer, and face wash on the train so that you can have a clean skin for your flight! Magazines, and movies are definitely a must a well!

Stefanie!
ReplyDeleteDon't be nervous! In reality, yes, the plane ride will probably be long, but I'll be you'll sleep (and drink-haha) so it will go by quick!
What beauty events are you going to while you're here? And I can't believe you're looking into beauty school! Big step! :D
